Scheduling and Taking the VTNE®
Scheduling the Exam
Before scheduling, make sure your contact information is correct in your MyAAVSB Portal. If you need any contact information updated, please email us.
Once your application is approved, you can create an online account with PSI, our exam vendor, to schedule the VTNE. You will need your candidate ID, which can be found by logging into your MyAAVSB Portal. Then, PSI will send a confirmation email once your exam is scheduled.
If you would prefer to schedule your exam over the phone, you can do so by calling PSI at +1(833) 256-1419.
If you have approved accommodations, download and review the VTNE Accommodations Guide for specific scheduling instructions.
In-Person or Live Remote Proctored
You can take the VTNE in-person at a PSI Test Center or in your home via live remote proctoring (LRP).
PSI has in-person testing centers throughout the U.S. and Canada. During the scheduling process, you’ll choose your location. You can use the PSI Search Tool to check location availability in advance.
If you want to take the exam at home with LRP, we have important information you need to know. Read the Live Remote Proctoring Guide carefully before choosing the LRP option.
