Getting Your VTNE Score
Score Report Provided to You
You’ll get access to your official score, referred to as your Exam Candidate Copy, soon after your exam. Access to your score will be auto-generated by PSI Exams, our testing vendor, and sent to you by email.
You’ll be able to view/print your Exam Candidate Copy for one year only.
If you miss or don’t keep the email, it cannot be re-sent by either the AAVSB or PSI Exams, so be sure to watch for and keep the email.
Within six weeks of your exam, we’ll post your score report in your MyAAVSB account. This is for your personal information only — it can’t be used in the process of getting your license. PSI and the AAVSB will provide your official score report to your jurisdiction separately.
Score Report Provided to Your State or Province
The jurisdiction you selected during your application process has access to a secure website where they can obtain an official version of your score report within six weeks of the date you complete the exam.
Refer to the VTNE Candidate Handbook for detailed information on the scoring process.
Next Steps to Getting Licensed
Remember, the AAVSB administers the VTNE and provides your score to the jurisdiction you indicated in your application, but we do NOT issue your certificate or license.
To complete your licensing process, you must contact the state or provincial agency where you plan to work. They’ll provide the requirements and procedures you need to follow to obtain your license, certification, or registration. See our Getting Your License page for more information.
