About Your PAVE Certificate
Your PAVE Certificate of Completion will be emailed and does not expire. However, a PAVE certificate is not a license to practice veterinary medicine in the United States, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand. You must meet jurisdictional licensing requirements in order to practice veterinary medicine.
Additional Information
The North American Veterinary Licensure Exam (NAVLE), administered by the International Council for Veterinary Assessment (ICVA), is a required exam for veterinary licensure across North America and certain international locations. Visit the ICVA website for more details on the NAVLE, eligibility, scoring, content, and other exam-related information.
The licensing board that you choose on the NAVLE application will require verification that you have passed the QSE.
- To request a PAVE Letter of Eligibility (verification of passing QSE) for the NAVLE, please email PAVE.
- You will receive an email confirmation once your request has been processed. You can follow up with your licensing board to ensure they received your letter.
