About RACE Programs
A program provides an educational event where participants receive a CE upon completion, through the roster upload and/or a physical certificate, whether the event is live or on-demand. Consequently, the committee calculates the RACE program application fees based on the total hours of programming submitted for review. For programs offering multiple sessions, such as a conference, fees are based on the total hours available, not the hours attended by an individual participant.
Programs are approved for two years from the approval date and may be repeated during the approval period. Variations in program content and/or the number of CE hours are considered different programs; therefore, they must be submitted as new Program Application(s).
Program Standards for RACE
- The RACE Committee uses the RACE Standards document to review programs.
- We advise applicants to review the RACE Standards before starting the Provider application process.
- Providers should review programs against the Standards before submitting to RACE.
- If your program has more than 25 presenters, please fill out the Presenter Qualification Sheet and submit it in lieu of uploading individual CVs.
Policies for RACE
- Ensure you have your program description ready (this should encompass what your program is about, have keywords for search functionality).
- Complete the RACE Course Attachment, which you will then upload in the RACE Application.
- You must submit payment for the application online when you apply.
- Lastly, it is the RACE Providers responsibility to ensure their program complies with RACE standards.
